QUIDAM Studio generates 3D characters optimized for real time animation. It allows artists to edit and export the Low Poly structure of the produced models and adjust them so that they resemble their high resolution subdivided counterpart!
You can paint Bump Mapping and Normal Mapping directly onto the model to add details without increasing the number of polygons.
That is why the poly count of the Low Poly models created with QUIDAM is about 3 500 to 10 000 triangles only.

With QUIDAM, the long, tricky and tedious task of setting up the character is dramatically eased.
Each characters base already includes skeleton and skinning information respecting professional standards. Therefore, the generated models can be animated without extra setup work.
For the most demanding users, a module dedicated to edit skeleton and skinning weights allows quick retouching.

QUIDAM creates models that are easily and perfectly unwrapped, which include their UV map, texture, animation skeleton and skinning data.
Thanks to additional export plug-ins, QUIDAM generates models that are ready to be animated in all applications such as Maya, 3DS Max, LightWave, Cinema 4D, Carrara and others!
Multi-resolution: your characters can be exported at the resolution of your choice.

Note : QUIDAM Studio is compatible with MAC and PC and includes the COLLADA export plug-in.
